#HousewifeSundays
The workweek is so fast-paced––you're juggling being a working woman, maybe being a wife, maybe being a mom, and all other other things in between. And let's not forget soccer practice or those ballet classes on Saturday. But then there are Sundays, the holy sabbath, that offers up an opportunity for us to be slow down in the sacredness of rest.
For me, after church on Sundays presents me the opportunity to put mumu, grab my apron and cook a meal for my husband.
Since we moved into our home back in 2023, I've tried to make dinner from scratch for my husband. There's so much pride I get out of doing it--whether it's hearing him tell me he enjoyed the meal, the act of serving the man GOD blessed me with, or just being fully present in my femininity and not rushing for once.
#HousewifeSundays sets me up for success throughout the week. It is a day I look forward to, and I hope—whether you're married or single—that #HousewifeSundays reminds you to slow down as well.
